Founded in 1977, the Yuen Long Junior Chamber of Commerce is a branch of the Junior Chamber International (Hong Kong). It was also the first branch in the New Territories and the first regionally focused branch in the region. With the mission of “Serving the Community, Training Ourselves,” the Yuen Long Junior Chamber actively participates in community affairs, fulfilling its civic responsibility and contributing to Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability. It receives support from community organizations, government departments, and local gentry in Yuen Long. Its flagship event, the “Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Outstanding Student Election,” is an annual event in the education sector, discovering the next generation of young talents, nurturing tomorrow’s leaders, and continuing to contribute to Hong Kong’s development.
