2006 Highlights:

• Brand Building – Working towards the objective of “We are the Brand, You are the Brand”, I am proud to share with you the following achievements. 
• Mr. To Chung (TOYP 2003 Awardee) was presented the World Outstanding Young Persons Honoree together with other nine Honorees.
• Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection 2006, To highlight the TOYP Selection, the Organizing Committee launched a series of meaningful community services program related to AIDS during November – December.
• On external cooperation, JCI Hong Kong has organized several joint programs. They are –
• The flagship theme project – “Entrepreneurs in Action Program for the New Era Leaders” jointly organized with HK Productivity Council
• “Watching, No betting – Say No to Gambling” with Home Affairs Bureau
• 『心繫奧運』系列活動香港五四青年節2006『新青年迎奧運』with HK Youth Union Association & 84 youth organizations
• “Digital Pioneer Award – Young Creative Entrepreneur” organized by British Council with JCI Hong Kong and Cyber Port as partners of this event. 
• “AQ Story Mentorship Program” co-organized with Caritas. 
• This year, it is the first time for JCI Hong Kong to co-organize Solar Program 『太陽計劃2006 – 實踐分享巡迴外展計劃』with Radio Television Hong Kong Channel 2. 
• To cope with government on the poverty issue, the program of “Poverty Alleviation Caring Movement” jointly organized with Caritas. District Offices, Yuen Long City Hall was successfully commenced on May 21. Artist Jade Kwan was appointed as the Poverty Alleviation Caring Honorary Ambassador who helps us to promote the program and gained a lot positive feedback from outsiders for the JC contribution on the poverty issue. 
• A special video – “Global Greetings for Beijing Olympics 2008” is now being produced which will be submitted to Beijing Olympics Organizing Committee via Liaison Office for public broadcasting. 
• Training Institute – JCIHK Training Institute (TI) launching ceremony was held on June 29. Training Institute provided several training courses and programs and news to trainers of JCI Hong Kong where there will be a lot of opportunities for conducting training. The kick off ceremony and the first module were held on November 23 and 26 respectively.
