- The raffles sales raised HK$27,000 for the Jaycee Peng Chau Clinic in April. In honor of the Governor’s visit in August, almost the entire 4,000 population of Peng Chau gathered to witness the opening of the clinic.
- A 4,000-book Libray was opened on Nov 22 in the Shek Kip Mei Resettlement Area.
- Hong Kong Junior Chamber of Commerce donated five noodle machines for converting the milk powder and flour into noodles, a popular and edible food for Chinese, to feed refugees from Mainland.
