1961 Highlights:

• Miss International Beauty Contest was chaired by 1957-8 President Kenneth Chun to raise fund specifically for the setting up of the Day Nursery at Chai Wan , Miss Judy Chang was selected as Miss International Beauty 1962 for Hong Kong to enter the final competition at Long Beach California.
• Hong Kong Junior Chamber of Commerce set up Chai Wan Day Nursery which was then maintained and run by the Save the Children Fund.
• A project ’’Boys day in Business’’ was organized in order to provide students who would soon leave school with the opportunity of working in a business organization. A total 575 jobs opportunities were secured.
• Hong Kong Junior Chamber of Commerce donated and installed a set of television-a luxury item at that time-to North Point Camp for the senior citizens.
